Sensory deprivation of human bodies, from the view of spatial and social relations, moves this work. By proposing a counterpoint to technology resources, overused by (and in) the body - and often exposed in an authoritative manner, by a consumeristic policy -, HANDS looks for the strength of simplicity. An aesthetic bet on delicacy. A human wager on affection.

This is a documentary on the television movie that came out in 1983 "The Day After", which takes place in Lawrence, Kansas. One of the persons interviewed in this documentary asked the Australian crew for a copy, he was a farmer whose barn was blown up for the film. This video is interesting, especially to persons in Lawrence, for it's usual perspective on the film.

Nightmare was one of the first horror host programs to hit the airwaves in the late 1950s, based on the Universal Shock Package of horror movies and programming suggestions. Tom Leahy Jr. who not...

An experiment in live video feedback, "Alien Smile" was created with a flashlight, a camera, a video projector, and an Edirol V4 video mixer providing a horizontal mirror effect. First, light from the flashlight is used to create a blob of saturated feedback that forms the mouth. Next, the light is repositioned to serve as the eyes. Bobbing the flashlight up and down changes the amount of light in the feedback loop, affecting the size and shape of the alien smile. Recorded live at...

Excerpt from a live VJ performance by Toshi (Doktor) Hoo and Jeff Mission at Hot Tin Roof, Martha's Vineyard, MA. Two large fastfold screens were set up side by side and rear-projected from the back of the stage. The images on the two screens were mirrored, creating a nice symmetry across the width of the stage. A pair of professional dancers performed between the projectors and screens, creating their own unique imagery. All of this provided the backdrop for a DJ set by Boston's Sergio Santos.
